Known as Miyavi stylized as (MIYAVIlisten)) is a Japanese singer-songwriter, guitarist, record producer, and actor. His musical career began in 1999 in the Visual Kei band Dué le Quartz. Miyavi’s father’s family surnamed him Lee who came from Jeju Island. Miyavi says that as a child he was a good student and enjoyed playing soccer. he was accepted into the junior team of Cerezo Osaka, a J league team. In the second year of middle school, he got injured somehow so he couldn’t pursue sports career. when Miyavi was 15 years old, he began to learn guitar. When his interest began to develop, he bought a guitar and began to cover songs by Ray Charles. In his junior year of high school, he played with his first band called Loop.

Miyavi used to sing songs in Korean and Japanese and then realized that if he wanted to attract a large audience, he should sing songs in English. She therefore went to the US to learn English.
